The European Union member countries have come up with a plan which allows one evaluation process and one approved mark to qualify a product for acceptance in all 27 (and counting) European Union member countries. You no longer need to pursue separate test house approval marks for each individual country in which you want to market your product.

Manufacturers are allowed to self-certify compliance to applicable directives in most cases.

We can efficiently take your product through the evaluation, testing, and documentation process. It has been our experience that manufacturers who utilize our services realize a cost saving over those who tackle the task themselves. This is apparent when one considers the engineering time needed to research the applicable criteria, procure standards, apply standards with which you may be unfamiliar, test time, and documentation time, among other issues. We can normally get through this process in a matter of a week or so without taking time away from the manufacturers engineers who are wrapped up in design and other critical issues.

We have specialized in machinery directive evaluations since 1992. You will not find a more knowledgeable source. Risk assessment, safety circuits, ergonomics, E-stops, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, guarding, hazardous materials and all other aspects of machine safety.

Appliances, laboratory equipment, office equipment, commercial devices, HVAC, etc. We have experience with a wide variety of equipment. Our laboratory is set up to test most types of equipment. We will review any existing UL, etc. reports to help reduce testing if possible.

With Class I products there is no need for the intervention of a Notified Body. We can get the job done. For all other class of products, we will coordinate your evaluation through a Notified Body. All required aspects, including quality system requirements, are reviewed.
